Special Staff Sections of 511th Airborne Infantry Regiment
as shown in the yearbook of the 511th Airborne Div (Angels) in October 1956. Paratroopers, trained in Fort Campbell/Kentucky, entered the legendary C-119 transporters (Flying Boxcars) in Munich-Neubiberg and parachuted in the drop zone of Gablingen Airfield`s Northern area. Airborne Regiments 187 (Rakkasans) and 188 Winged Attack (Hells Angels) were also at Gablingen.
